An antenna to use with a portable rig for 145 MHz, FM. The antenna is detachable in two pieces, the longest being 1 metre.
An easy to build portable antenna for the holidays, at the sea or on the mountains.
The antenna is constructed from two simple 1-metre aluminium bars, cut according to the measurements shown. The bars are fixed to a wooden support (if plastic is used, this is even better) with screws. Electrical contacts are made by means of holes in the bars and screws. There are additional free holes so that the electrical contacts can be moved and the resonance of the antenna can be calibrated.
